Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

When you use PowerLevelMe, we collect:

• Account information — your name and email address via Clerk authentication (Google OAuth or email).
• Analysis results — the AI-generated power level, tier, title, description, and quote produced from your scan. We do not store the raw resume PDF or LinkedIn profile text after analysis is complete.
• Usage data — scan counts and subscription status to manage plan limits.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To generate and display your power level analysis.
• To maintain your account, scan history, and subscription.
• To display your result on the public leaderboard (only if you choose "Public").
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Resume & LinkedIn Data

When you submit a resume PDF or LinkedIn URL, the text content is temporarily processed by our AI (Anthropic Claude) to generate your analysis. This raw text is not stored on our servers after the analysis is complete. Only the AI-generated result is saved.

By submitting a resume or LinkedIn profile, you confirm that you have the right to submit that data. See our Terms of Service for full details.

4. Public Leaderboard

If you set your result to "Public," your display name, power level, tier, and AI-generated title will appear on the public leaderboard and be accessible via a shareable link. You can toggle your result to "Private" at any time from your dashboard, which will remove it from the leaderboard immediately.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your analysis results are stored as long as your account is active. You can delete individual results from your dashboard at any time. To request full account deletion and removal of all associated data, contact us at team@majesticlight.org.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (Clerk session tokens). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
